Essence of the joint responsibility arrangement
In order to promote Alsace as a tourist destination, the companies listed in the Appendix to this arrangement (the “Parties”) have agreed to pool the personal data of their customers and prospective customers.
To offer you the best possible protection for your data, the Parties have, in accordance with current legislation, drawn up a joint responsibility arrangement governing how your data will be used (the “Arrangement”).
In the interests of transparency, the Parties have set out the essence of the Arrangement in this document. We strongly recommend that you familiarise yourself with its contents.
1. PROCESSING
The Parties collect the following data about you:
Identification data: family name, given name
Contact details: address, postcode, town or city, mobile number, email address
Language spoken
Visit information: arrival date, departure date, destination
2. DESCRIPTION OF PROCESSING
The processing carried out by the Parties will be limited to the following purposes only:
– managing prospective customer relationships
– sending out our newsletters and information feeds
– managing events or competitions that we organise
– analysing the behaviour of prospective customers
– processing statistics
– promoting our organisation and tourism in Alsace and in the Massif des Vosges area on social media (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, etc.)
– managing our community
3. EXERCISING YOUR RIGHTS

4. INFORMATION
The Parties are responsible for informing you of the conditions under which your data is used. They do this via a Data Protection Policy which is freely accessible on their respective websites.

6. CONFIDENTIALITY OF ARRANGEMENT
The Arrangement between the Parties is strictly confidential. No communication will be entered into in this regard, irrespective of the nature of the request.
7. CHANGES/AMENDMENTS
The essence of the arrangement may be updated to take account of changes in case law and legislation.
In such a situation, a new essence document will be published to reflect the changes regarding data protection.
